April 30 - The Bank of England will likely make the full 150
billion pounds in asset purchases authorised by the government and it will
ultimately prove effective in pumping life into the economy, a Reuters poll
found.
The poll also showed that the BOE's main interest rate will remain on hold
at 0.5 percent until the middle of 2010.
Following is a table on how BoE rate forecasts have evolved over the last
eight Reuters polls.
