The June issue of Marie Claire magazine, out on the 30th April, comes with a 50ml freebie mini-tub size of "Shea Body Butter" from The Body Shop. Magazine usually retails for £3.30 and the Body Butter has a rrp of £4.85. Subscribers will have this popping through their letter boxes in the next day or so.

This is a fab deal. The body butter will be on the front cover of the magazine. If you want to see what it looks like, have a look on the Body Shop site.

  • Unfortunately for me the Body Shop body butters contain lanolin which I'm allergic stuff. Just as well I like the cheaper stuff from elsewhere:D

I got several BS coconut body butters last time MC did an offer like this...but there was a "Buy MC for £1" voucher doing the rounds then. Anyone know if there's any cheap deals for MC at the moment?

Think my subscription to MC has ended now the 3 for £1 deal, I cancelled the subscription as dont normally have MC. Im glad I got the mag with the free Neals yard lotion as I cant/dont use Body shop as they are now Loreal. The Neals yard body lotion was really nice - lasted me a while:D

I keep giving friends the free samples I cant use they are quite happy!

In your hair? isn't that a b**** to rinse out? good tip though- just not brave enough to try! ( put myself off home made beauty treatments when being a teenager and trying everything I could. Egg and hot water do not mix, especially not on hair!)

No I mix it with avocado and olive oil, sometimes honey. Wrap cling film around my head, put a bag over it, then a shower cap then one of those special towels you can buy for when you wash your hair, leave it for a few hours, rinse it and viola, perfect shiny and soft hair.

I guess it depends on your hair type, but I've grown my hair really long doing that.

Egg and hot water lol that made me giggle.

Woo Hoo ... this has just made Martin's email.

Don't forget folks ... this magazine comes out in the next couple of days and will be hitting subscribers' doormats even sooner!
  • Thanks OP - my subscription copy has just dropped through the letterbox and it does indeed contain a 50ml pot of Shea Body Butter. Haven't opened it yet, but I usually love these body butters and have a few other varieties so am hoping this one will be just as nice :D

Over the moon - especially as my subscription was only the 3 issues for £1 offer which was posted on here a while back :D Can't believe what a good deal that was!
