Superdrug swapping spree

Superdrug have just launched a "swapping spree". If you bring in any old toileries/makeup (even empty bottles) to your local store you can swap them for 10% off any own brand or procter and gamble products (gillete, braun, always, Tampax, clairol, fairy and many more). Well worth taking an old bottle in with you when you go shopping as you can even use it on top of the current BOGOF's etc.
Cannot swap anything marked flamable, hair colours or medicines
Offer ends 12th May
Official MoneySavingExpert.com Insert:
Just to add to rmmiddleton's info, you'll need to pick up a voucher in store to hand over with your old make-up. You can exchange as many items as you like in each transaction provided you have one voucher per transaction. They'll also need to be handed over in an shopping bag. There's more info on the Superdrug website.

Just wanted to say that if anyone is interested in this superdrug offer, Proctor & Gamble fund animal testing and also test their own products on animals.
I have boycotted them ever since i found this out.
For more info go to uncaged (dot) co (dot) uk (forward slash) pg (dot) htm

Although proctor and gamble do fund animal testing, superdrug do not and all their products are free from animal testing, and as another user pointed out many are also suited to vegans too. So for everyone opposed to animal testing there's something for you too0 -

Not sure if it was just my pc, but the "thanks" button didn't show & I had to refresh the screen to be able to thank - maybe that's why nobody's bothered...I don't think I can hang on til Friday...0 -
I was in Superdrug today and was about to buy a quantity of Always ST's as these are on special again - £1.70 for one or 2 for £1.99. Anyhow the nice SA who pointed me in the direction of further supplies told me about this promotion. She very kindly offered to put my basket to one side until tomorrow and gave me a leaflet. There are also 3 different Braun epilators 1/2 price at the moment. As DD will want one when she goes to uni, I thought I might just as well buy it now. She said she would put that aside too.
DD and I have just found a few bits and pieces to put in a bag for me to take to Superdrug tomorrow.
As they say, 'Every little helps'.0
