Weighwatchers Vs Slimming World

Hi all you good MSE people
well, I need to loose weight- it has crept up by about 3stone this last 3 years. I know what I do wrong and how I should fix it but I just don't seem to have the motivation. Its the usual viscious circle - feel crap about my weight so comfort eat, put more weight on...goes round in circles.
Anyway I need to do something about it so though joining a group i.e WW or SW would spur me on.
Before I spend my hard earned cash I would like to know your thoughts on both of the groups - what you have found good and bad about them.
Thanks for reading and hope you can help me

Good morning cb
I have experience of both WW and SW and find SW much easier to stick to. It is a healthy eating plan for life. I am currently with SW and have been very succesful having lost 3 stone since last July.
Join your local group as their support is amazing. Also look at the SW thread on this site and you will get lots of help there as well.
Don't forget your are not on your own - we can all help each other.

SpiritJoined Slimming World originally in December 05 at 17st 9lb and then followed a very hilly route. I now weigh 11st 12 lbs. Whoops, I'll now have to confess to being 12st 12lbs.:o0 -
I've tried SW and found it really difficult so went back to WW - I defo prefer WW and have lost 24lb since new year.
I find WW really flexible and the meetings are really motivating. Also, the monthly pass gives you free online support and works out cheaper than the weekly meeting fee.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 027
