Top spot! The next cheapest price is £24. However prices on HMV often chop and change depending on demand, so double check the price first and go quick.

  • With £1 discount HMV vouchers from McDonalds Monopoly promotion you can get an additional £1 off. I've just used one that would have been otherwise gathering dust. Thanks CLLC.

Love the films and books and have been tempted by such a collection many a time (despite having them individually, not very money saving I know but prettier than my battered disks). At £9 it can quench my thirst till the full set of 8 are out in 2012 probably.

  • There are some incredible savings here at the moment, plus 5% discount through quidco, just spent £500 on DVDs, but saved over £2000!
    Thanks

RNYGGLJXR7NTLK gets the first person that uses it £1 off a £9.99 spend. (McDonalds Voucher)
  • I've just gone into the site and they had the DVD box set for £9.99 but when I added it to my basket it reverted to £39.99. I've just looked again (half an hour later) and the actual price is back to £39.99! Disappointed that I missed this one!

    Never mind! Will keep looking!

HMV are playing games with us. When I tried to order 5 minutes ago, price in basket came up at £39.99 despite being advertised at £9.99. I called them & they stated they had stock but "the offer had ended". Cliamed they did not need to honour the price since it was an offer...technically correct but most reputable retailers typically DO honour advertised prices. Vote with your feet with HMV in future.
