Hair problems

Hello all,
This is a strange one, I don't get restful sleep at nights and I think I'm tossing and turning a lot during the night, this has resulted in the top layers of my hair becoming really rough and in poor condition ( from rubbing on the pillow case I suppose)
Has any one else ever experienced anything simillar or have ideas to help protect my hair from further damage?

Try a good old fashioned Hair net0

silk pillow cases are supposed to help but I found it hard to find decently priced ones and in the end gave up lookingIf you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

try putting in some sort of conditoner / barrier then wash off in the morning so its not greasy for the day??0

my younger daughter suffered this.
try cotton pillow cases - which will reduce the static.
a conditioning shampoo. or a bit of olive oil massaged onto hair (&or scalp) - then wash off in morning with usual shampoo.
oh - and see if you can pinpoint the reason for restless sleep eg stress, too much caffeine or distractions before sleeping,...0 -
If hair is long enough, then a pony tail on top of your head works. Looks stupid but leaves the top layers in good nick.0

My friends and Mum, with long hair, sleep with it in a loose plait to prevent breaking.0
