CATALOGUES from here, there and everywhere

I have decided to knuckle down and cancel catalogues that keep appearing in the post. You know the type, order once and a catalogue appears every few weeks for ever.

I have rung lakeland limited today and that one is sorted. I love their items but don`t want to be sucked into buying things I don`t need. I see lots of `I want` items when I look through the catalogue so the temptation had to go

House of bath is another one. That is done

The chocolate tasting club. Grrr this is taking ages on an 0870 number. Through now and what a smarmy voice `I do apologise blah blah`

1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
good idea Kittie,I find it difficult not to look at a catalogue once it comes through the door.As soon as you start looking there is always something you want.I've tried just binning them, but by the time I've ripped off the plastic wrapper so that I can put the catalogue in the paper recycling box it's difficult not to take a peek.

    Good Luck!!

I started doing the same thing when I realised the accounts show up on your credit rating. That was in July and Studio have ignored my cancellation requests 4 times now - except for the first time when they sent me a voucher. Everyone else was very understanding.
Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!
  • I put them straight in the recyling bin, same with the yellow pages and bt phone books, everything is listed on the net, so why clutter up the house?>

Mind you that chocolate tasting one sounds very tempting!

I like receiving them, honest !
When i am bored i go through & choose all the things I'd buy if i had less sense & a lot more money, the pat myself on the back for being such a goody goody ! Got to take your fun where you can get it when you are economising.

    Best Wishes
