My BTL empire is in tatters

in Debate House Prices & the Economy
My portfolio of BTL's is now worth less than I paid for them, rents are falling and I can't get tenants. All I read on here day after day is how happy people are that prices are drooping, nobody cares about me and my BTL's.

    Let to DSS tenants, there are plenty of those about, and take comfort in the fact that your mortgages must be substantially lower than you ever expected... or that if that money was in the bank as savings, no where is offering a very good return anyway and whilst safe as houses might not be the current mantra, it isn't really as safe as banks either...

    'Pickles' is one of the board regulars having a laugh, not sure who it might be although Mr.B has a few in his sock drawer.
