as long as you get there before 9.30am you should be charged 1p each we went last holidays and as there was 8 of us they gave us 2 lanes, we had a fantastic time and all for 8p

my advice would be to get there early in case you have to que but even then the que doesnt take long to go down

do u have to pay for shoe hire?

Bowling for 1p is for one game only and you do not pay extra for shoe hire. Shoe hire is normally included in the price of the game anyway.

Its just a way of getting people in the door and perhaps hoping you spend more money on extras like drinks and food. They are doing bacon rolls and half hotdogs for 99p each so will get their money that way, we never bothered with any of that despite pleas from the kids.

Make sure you do turn up 20 minutes before your booked time incase it is busy with queues, if you turn up after 9.30 you'll be charged full-price and if you don't turn up you'll be charged a cancellation fee from the card details you left. Lots of people do take advantage of this offer, nice to do something cheap with the kids during holiday time.

We did the bowling during the Xmas hols, it was great to get out early with the kids and we made a day of it once we were out. All for the great sum of 5p for our family. This time I am taking my lot plus a friend with her daughter. Remember only two adults for this offer but if you want you can take lots of kids...

Full terms and conditions are clearly on the website for Hollywood Bowl.

We went this morning and had a wonderful time for 4p altogether (we even sneaked our own drinks in too). We had no problems at all.
  • Was really sceptical of this - so we booked for Sunday morning- and what a bargain!! it really did only cost 7p!!
So......... i went craxy online on the afternoon.. and there we were again this morning - 3p
    booked for Thursday
    and...
Saturday too. Our bowling is next to the cinema and they do juniors for £1 on a Saturday morning - so bowling at 9am for 4p followed by cinema for £4 straight afterwards!!
(We took juice and snack in today - loads of people did it - but most parents bought teas and coffees - like me!)
    FAB idea!!!
