Free unlimited tea/coffee during weekdays

Options
I was looking for Ikea vouchers and discovered if you join the 'Ikea family' you get free unlimited tea and/or coffee in the restaurant right now, (you might need the coffee to keep you going - sheesh it takes a while to get round!) they also have some good deals with 25% off.

Cant believe the amount of time I've spent in there today.. Jees, never again on a weekend, so the draw of freebies and avoiding the masses is good for me ;)

I personally like the cooked breakfast for £0:93 with my free tea or coffee. If you get there in the half hour before opening everyone gets the free tea or coffee. My local Ikea is so close I view it as my local cafe.

The other good thing with the family card is you get sent extra offers through the post and some extra discounts on the Ikea Family Range too.

    Hi,
I got the ikea family card and use it for free coffees ( pass it to my sister to use when she's behind me in the queue!). Went there on Friday and got a lovely lunch at a reduced price using the family card. Also got vouchers through the post to save £10 off a £60 spend in March and again in April. Me and my sis spent £30 each and saved a fiver so well worth having. It all adds up :o

I've just spent a blimmin fortune on furniture in there, but bought fish n chips in the restaurant and got a £5 voucher for the priviledge, so took the bill down to ^%*.@#

    ..ahem. ;)

I've still got to go back for more too.. but not til the card arrives! Oh yay.

  • You can only get free tea and coffee Monday to Friday with the Ikea Family Card - no weekends.
I always stock up on free pencils and paper tape measures (always useful to carry one around - just in case) whenever I go there!

Do you think you have missed the point here?? They are not 'FREE PENCILS AND TAPES' they are a courtesy aid to help you to shop more easily.

If you just grab a mug (not glass) and flash your Ikea family card, you can also fill up on sodas if you wish. I do this and no one seems to notice! If you don't mind drinking a cold drink out of a mug!

isn't that actually theft, if the offer is for free tea or coffee, you must pay for the cold drinks

I've never seen a sign that says you cannot take them with you so I use them as a courtesy aid in other shops. :D
