The value and importance of parental involvement in a child's education is increasingly recognised. Research has shown that parental involvement in children's education from an early age has a significant effect on educational achievement, and continues to do so into adolescence and adulthood.
NCPTA's most recent member surveys have shown that around a third of PTAs are now undertaking some form of activity to help parents become more engaged in their children's education
We would like to understand more about this activity: what are you doing and what affect is it having? We also want to know if others are keen to get involved and what support they are looking for from the NCPTA.
All responses received before MONDAY 23 MARCH 2009 will be entered into a free prize draw to receive a donation of either £150, £100 or £50 to your PTA.
The survey is short. You will be automatically directed to specific sections depending on your answer to the first question. Please click here to open the survey.
We are grateful to you for taking the time to complete the survey.
Regards
David Butler
Chief Executive, NCPTA

It looks like you have to be on the PTA to do this survey, as I got:
If you are unsure whether your PTA is undertaking any form of parental involvement activity currently, please forward the link to this survey to other members of the committee who may have greater knowledge of your PTA's current activities.0
