or do you mean a Mouli? this is a big bowl sized seive witha rotary blade and big handle that the French use a lot to puree all sorts of stuff for soups and mousses etc. I'd search ebay for one

I got one from here a couple of years ago http://www.richmondcookshop.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=792 they do a larger on too.
Certainly wasn't cheap but when I found it was so much easier to use a blender for baby food I sold it for more than I paid for it on Ebay shortly afterwards.0 -
Can I just remind everyone of the site rules regarding buying selling and swopping on the forum:Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons I have to discourage swapping, buying and selling on the forum (please see this rule). While it can be a very useful way of saving money it relies on a certain amount of trust between members and as such can cause problems (and has in the past). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.

thanks everyone for your response  .I think the correct name for this item is Mouli but it doesn't seem to be very popular in the shops.
Sorry arkonite-baby for breaking the rules I have now edited my previous post:ohalf scottish half italian :100%moneysaver0
