Annual Contact Lenses

Hi,
Posted this on another board but it's probably more suited to here ... wonder if anyone can help.
My OH needs new annual soft contact lenses, i.e., you use them for a year (or two in his case!), taking them out at night. He doesn't want dailies, monthlies or extended wear.
Unfortunately, it seems opticians make so much more money with the throw away lenses they're very reluctant to sell the annual ones anymore.
Does anyone know where we can still get these? Last pair were from 20/20 Optical Store but I don't think they sell them anymore. Already had a look at Martin's report and the associated discussion thread but they aren't mentioned there.
