Sanitary Towel Brands - one for the ladies!

Hi all,
My partner uses Always Ultra sanitary towels with wings as she says that the wings help stop the blood from bleeding sideways onto underwear or down the leg.
However, she says that there are not many brands, with most supermarkets mainly stocking Always, Bodyform or their own brand.
She says that in China there are many brands and they seem to be more advanced as you can get ones with what translates to as something like 'multidimentional wings' which as I understand is not just wings that go around your underwear but additional wings to help keep the blood in the towel.
Is anyone familiar with what she is saying or know of brands that are better than the current Always Ultrate towels?

I alternate between bodyform and always depending on promo offers - they just seem to be better at keeping you feeling dry and keeping neat. used to use kotex when they were around but come to think of it - there are hardly any other brands nowadays....
sorry but don't really know much about other brands, but i think Aldi, Lidl do their brands and there seems to be a new one in Tescos from Europe somewhere (Poland i think), but not tried them yet.0 -
Personally if I go out I'll use the major brand ones as they are more absorbent and just better quality, but i'f i'm just staying at home i'll use the lidl ones to ehh "double up" cos i think it might leak anyway unless u sit straight up throughout the day on a heavy day......
Also i've never had a problem with bleeding sideways or down the leg because the the underwear is not necessarily the big pants style but are comfy enough to hold things in place not too tight and not too loose......... i can never understand the point of liners/towels for thongs............0
