Anybody know of any TV audience tickets for somewhere near Manchester? London's just a little bit too far for the majority of us!

Thanks for that spikey but why do the producers or whoever leave it so late for people to make arrangments to get there?
  • Word of warning about Applause Store. I got 4 tickets last year for a show at BBC Centre. As I live in Lincolnshire had to book hotel, travel etc, but as the tickets were free I thought would make a weekend out of it. When we got to BBC Centre in plenty of time there was a crowd of people gathered who could not get in. Was told that the tickets were oversubscribed and entry was on a first come, first served basis. Turned out to be a complete waste of money and time made even worse by the fact that we had taken the in-laws with us. I wrote and complained and never heard a thing, not even an apology. They still email me about shows but I would never risk it again. I was told at the gate that I should have been sent priority tickets but that didn't help me at the time!!!

Tickets for the Terry Wogan show were often given away as star prizes in competitions.

    Second prize was TWO tickets.:)

I got 4 tickets for Parkinson as my daughter works for itv tele. We couldn't go so gave the tickets to friends. When they arrived..in good time..the place was already full and they were refused entry. My daughter tells me it's normal! We didn't know at the time

"Unfortunately, your ticket does not guarantee you a seat.

As tickets are complimentary, people often request more tickets than they need. We therefore have to issue more tickets than there are seats available to allow for this.

We do consider the volume of our overissues carefully for each show, but we recommend that you arrive promptly to be sure that you aren't disappointed."

From http://www.bbc.co.uk/tickets/ where you can get tickets :)
