SRJ Debt Recoveries - Litigation threatened, need help pls

Hi, I received a letter back in November from SRJ Debt Recoveries stating that their client Hutchinson 3G (3 mobile) has tried to contact me numerous times to settle an outstanding debt owed to them for £215.
I had a mobile phone with 3 over 4 years ago and was not aware of any outstanding debts owed on the account. I sent SRJ a letter saying that i do not acknoweldge this debt etc and they sent me a copy of a final demand bill that 3 (supposedly) sent to me in July 05. After checking this copy of the bill, 3 mobile had sent it to an incorrect address that wasnt mine, so i obviously didnt receive it.
Now SRJ have sent me a letter saying that they will refer my account to a County Court on the 16 Jan and i will incur further costs / CCJ and that i must pay the debt in the next 7 days.
I'm at a bit of a loss now, what do you think i should do? Shall i send them a letter saying that i never resided at the address specified on the bill from 3, or should i just try to pay it as i dont want to go to court!?
thanks for your help

If not , write and tell them you never resided at that address and you were unaware of this debt . If you agree that you phone bill is correct offer a monthly payment to clear the account . Remember it will cost them hundreds to go to court and under the circumstanses I can not see how a Judge could award a CCJ in this case .0

thanks for the reply. I can pay the amount, but who's to say that this wasnt just 3 messing up their billing - they did it a number of times when i had the phone. The bill they sent wasnt itemised and just had an amount payable on... nothing else.
Can the DCA take this to court even if i am disputing the debt?0 -
please can anyone advise... can they take it to court if i am disputing the debt?0
