Sorry, ignore me! this isn't a DVDR - doesn't record DVDs, just records to the HD.

This seems to be a good price for a HD DVD recorder.

Any views?

Sorry to disappoint, in this case it's a Digital Video Recorder hence the DVR, Currys have a similar one

The model shown for argos is a newer model than this one AND for the same price!

I'm pretty sure the one in Curry's is just out and is the same! Different model number, but manufacturers quite often give different model numbers to different retailers - makes it almost impossible to price match!

has any one actually bought the twin tuner pvr from argos orderd one sat and was sent out light fitting instead of the pvr i am just wondering weather any one as actually had one because now im told they are out of stock thats if they have ever had stock

The Fusion FVRT90 / FVRT95 and the Ferguson FPVR1T are all basically the same boxes. The Ferguson costs £20 more from Currys but has a Top-up TV slot. They are all made by a company called Access Devices and then rebadged.

There seem to be a few bugs but virtually all PVR's have some bugs. There is a firmware update due to be broadcast next week for the 90/95.

The Twin Tuner 145 is a reworked version of last years 150 with a simpler front display panel. The 150 was itself a modified version of the 100 produced exclusively for Argos.
