What's this about?
Charity Citizens Advice is compiling a research report on legal aid and would love to have feedback from anyone who's had problems accessing and using the service within the last year.
Hopefully the report, which is due to be published later this year, will highlight what can be improved so more people can benefit and be helped by the scheme - but this can only be achieved with your help.
What is legal aid?
Legal aid is a free service, funded by the Legal Services Commission, to help people on low incomes who can't afford to hire a solicitor to deal with a range of issues including divorce, debt, housing and employment problems.
Yet sadly eligibility for it is increasingly becoming more rigid, making it tougher for people to get the help they need.
How to help
If you've experienced problems using the service please complete CAB's short, anonymous online Legal Aid Survey. It should be live until at least the end of April, so please do spare a few minutes if you can help.

Please note that this should not be confused with Legal Aid in Scotland.Even if you didn’t qualify for civil legal aid before April this year, that may well have changed. Around three quarters of Scottish adults are likely to be financially eligible for civil legal aid from 7 April 2009, as part of a move to increase access to justice. If your income, after paying essential expenses such as your mortgage, tax and childcare, is £25,000 or less, you may qualify

If you hit the edit button amd then put a / before the second quote (in brackets) so it reads /quote, it should work better.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
