Unbelievable - they guy is picking up old biscuits off the pavements to eat!!!

On the other hand - there is an old couple who have picked up pennies on the street for 22 years and saved their loose change and are up to over £369,000!!!!:eek:

    I'm watching him, good luck to him.

    It's easier for him than rough sleepers in some ways due to his contacts knowing about internet access etc but it still looks a massvie massive shock to the system:eek:

    I consider myself lucky i've never had to do any of that....i'm sure if you were in that situation you'd eat almost anything!!

    Unfortunately, there are people living that dont have any choice and will still be the same in a year, 5 years and 10 years. They cant go back to 'normal'
    after a couple of weeks. i think its good for people to have this insight into the homeless, perhaps they will look on them a little more sympathetically in future. I usually try to but sometimes i fall down on the job.
    make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
    and we will never, ever return.
  • oh me too, but its amazing how resourceful some of the people on the programme are - I guess where needs must, you would survive as he is showing..
