i got one it's a great machine used by loads of businesses, very reliable, lasts for years
i actually paid £66.99 + vat at makro on one of the sale days
i think you can get them on makro mail for about £69.99 + vat
if you can wait until it's on offer it's a bargain price
as for the machine, i love it for my floors, tiles, stair, cars but still like a upright for the carpet cleaning, and easier to store
i still have not found a suitable machine for my carpets yet either and use my old bosch and horrid dysons (dco7 and dc08 & slim upright )
got my eyes on a sebo but very expensive!!
i just need an all round slimline, lightweight, for floors and carpets but easy for stairs!
just can't find the right mix
any advice??
thanks mrs ms0 -
Yeah but have you seen his girl version hettie, same great machine but in pink.
mil asked for a henry but we got her this in currys and she absolutely loves her. (you do become very fond of theses hoovers our henry got kidnapped once from a party and we had to do a few tasks to get him back) lol

I have bought one today in Homebase with the 10% off.0

I bought a Hetty a few month ago from one of the catalogues - littlewoods/marshallward etc.. went through Quidco (8%) and then used a £30 off a over £60 spend so got mine for about £60 all in.
I love her! She's brilliant, cute and picks up all the rubbish. I just click the other setting on the foot to go onto carpets, and its great! Has 2 power settings so can really get through the hoover quickly!
Best hoover we've ever had.0 -
I got one in B&Q the other day, they were on offer anyway and then it was a 15% off day so got it for just under £80. Very pleased with it so far.0

numatic are notorious for having a poor channel strategy, so you will find wholesalers and distributors will sell to the public. Have a good look around and look for companies who advertise in yellow pages etc as commercial cleaning suppliers - they will be selling them at wholesale - and in the current climate only too pleased to sell you one0

As a cleaner my No1 hated vacum is the Dyson. My first in favourites is a Miele - closely followed by the Henry - lovely machine, bit bulky on the stairs, but they do a great job. Worth investing in the tools I think, as they last so long. I am not sure you get them when you buy the machine???
Talking of Henrys getting nicked, one went from a shop I worked in. They must have brazenly picked it up when we were busy. I also agree about getting attached. One place I work has an Edward and I find myself talking to it "Hello Edward, how are you today" and when he is getting put away "Well done Edward, you did a good job there!"Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

My apologies for hijacking this thread. I recently brought a Henry, I have a few basic question hope some one can help me out with an answer.
My OH is not tall and finds it a bit difficult to get used to the standard 3 extension tubes that comes with the Henry, tried the suggestion made in the manual to invert the bent tube, but still does not help her. Are there shorter versions of this tube available for the Henry?
Another basic question. The main floor tool (brush) that comes with the Henry with the button which flicks the brush(bristles) out, I am a bit confused as to which mode must be used for carpets and which for hard floors / laminate floors?
