My mate was down at Currys to buy one at £978 this afternoon. The assistant told him to return on Boxing Day 1st thing because they're being reduced to £699, their store has 19 to sell & they reckon they'll shift quick.

The Currys website seems to be getting updated with new prices as I type this, the new price is now showing.

Seems a really nice piece of kit. My mate's ever so lucky to get one ! If I only I didn't have gf & baby Finn, maybe I could have a new tv too !! Mm, decisions decisions haha.

    I dunno now, last minute presents and all that! I'd have thought they'd be cashing in for as long as possible (or as long as their staff can bear!).

    I can't see my postcode anywhere in it, unless I'm being a total idiot (every possibility !), hopefully it should be sorted now, if not I'll remove it & someone else might be able to link to it.

    Got this one last Sunday, Currys then went out of stock and new stock is now £849. The PS50A456S is available at £699 if anyone is still looking, though its not 1080p.
