Though with 1mp lower res, it appears a better camera overall than the Samsung A6 (features) recently posted in the MSE forums & currently being sold for the same price at Argos.

got one of these from boots for £89 last summer sale. did not like it, took it back to boots.Have you got something to share - Do it.

IMHO , all these Samsungs seem to have disappointing image quality. Personally I would rather pay more for a 4MP Sony etc, than a 7MP A7 Samsung.
People always go on about Pixels, but its not just about pixels. Before digital cameras, you would pay anything from £5 to £10k for a normal camera, and none of those had pixels.
Nowadays the average consumer has no idea that the lens for instance is critical. People pay hundreds for their lenses. All digital cameras have different quality lens, and the same goes for the processor etc…
I liked the prices of the Samsungs, but they are that cheap for a reason

. Thanks to pistolero's post (& not a little dilemma!), I finally decided to give it a go & it worked!
With all due respect, I hope you're not right when it comes to the A7. Because I was being extremely picky & choosy, like some of the hair-splitting reviews out there, I missed out on all the deals - incl Apple's Nikon 5200 as I didn't think it was up to scratch either, no matter what price!
