    Ah the repost and the cardinal sin of not searching! Apologies everyone! Tempted to go give the old threads a bump to make up for my error! Or create some more havoc in liberty city...happy playing all!

    GTA1 and GTA2 as sold on Steam are a classic example of "shopping around" before you buy: They are $29.99 each., there- compared with the free price from Rockstar's own site, or included in the Steam "GTA collection" (along with San Andreas, Vice City and GTA3) $29.99 the lot.

  • Seriously, thanks for this. I'm a huge GTA fan, but can't justify spending £300 (I haven't got) on a Playstation 3 for one game (GTA4).

    Oh the hilarity of a flame thrower equipped fire engine through a bunch of rednecks. And the radio that is a work of comic genius. I might consider GTA4 once it hits the retro mark, say 5 years down the line - perhaps retro gaming is the new way to moneysave!?

    the most hardcore activity in any gta game was stealing a combine harvester in san andreas, driving back into the city, and harvesting gang bangers!
