'Insider info' on 'january' sales

I'm sure that there are enough of us on MSE to provide info on when the 'Sales' actually start and what is on offer -

I'll start the ball rolling

B & Q
sale starts Wednesday 23rd ----sorry 24th CHRISTMAS EVE - unusual as normally boxing day
50% off all kitchens (not just doors this time) and take away bathrooms
15% off all flooring / 1/3rd off bedrooms
Interest free credit available - but then again who hasn't
Plus i believe an Extra 15% OFF EVERYTHING BOUGHT IN STORE for the first few days of the sale.

Wilkinsons:
Wilkinsons sale has always started at 12pm on christmas eve with 50% of christmas stock in the past. Should think it would be the same this year - thanks Wolfsbane:

Thanks Vixarooni for...
H&M sale tomorrow, (16th dec) got an email on that today.
Debenhams is marking down there sale items nowish. Its not advertised but it will be there, just takes some looking through to find it.

What about other shops..... ?

Staff can use their discount of sale items but not in addition to the 'EXTRA' %ages off

I am wanting to get floating shelves for my front room so hoping Homebase or B&Q have an early sale! Also really need a new washing machine because it has been a month without one and I am running out of clean clothes fast!

I dont know about other stores rules, but i know my friends daughter worked at Focus Do It All (when our local one was still open) and she was allowed to use her staff discount card in addition to the sale offers on and was able to get a kitchen with either 80% or 90% off altogether.

So definately worth asking, good luck.

    SIMPLES!
  • Wow, thanks for thew insider knowledge!

On the Kitchens are they really 50% off everything? We have a quote from B and Q from the other month, so looking at doing it at some point, and obvioulsy need carcasses (sp) doors draws worktops etc...... and then we get an extra 15% off the sale price?

You have made a skint man very happy this christmas

    Thanks
