Hi
New so hope I am doing this right? If you live in Merseyside or Cheshire you can get two free smoke alarms with ten year batteries and for the ladies some hunky firemen to fit them free. They also check your house out for fire safety. The only catch is that they turn up at your house in a dirty great fire engine. (That'll get the neighbours talking!)
Further info Phone the "A Team" at BBC Radio Merseyside 0151-794 0984. They will take your details and the fire service will arrange to visit to suit you.

Thanks MrT,
Yes they do turn up in a big red fire engine. I had them (!) last year to fit smoke alarms - free. Four firemen turned up. They left so soon - ah well.
I can highly recommend BBC Radio Merseyside's "A Team". If you live in the area they will help with any enquiry on any subject:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing0 -
