    Hi Tucker,
If you look on the page you just posted a link to it says
"Save 20% on this bread maker. Enter code 20BREAD into the promotional codes box in the basket"
It's not just about the money

I can - look for the big purple button that says "online only" and there's a code given that gives you 20% off. This applies to all five breadmakers on their website, not just the one to which you have given a link.

Panasonic SD 255 has an excellect review on Amazon. This model replaced the SD253 which I have and have used every day for a year. These breadmakers are easy to use and produce lovely bread. Well worth buying.

I think the more expensive one adds the extra ingredients automatically. Good if you are making something with nuts or fruit in and using the up to 13hr delay start.

I must say that I haven't got one of these but would love one... can someone convince me?

Just go over to the Old style board and you'll find plenty of reading.
I've got the 254, and it's fantastic. I don't make bread needing extra bits very often, and you can just add them manually anyway.

The 254 has a 13 hour timer too.

I bout the 255 about six months ago and haven't bought a loaf of bread since! Buying flour from Lidl, it works out about 30p a loaf.:j
