Tesco Xmas trees mis-priced online - actually 75% off

I read on a thread yesterday that Tesco were selling their trees and lights at half price instore from the 12th November.

I picked the one I liked yesterday online. I had another look now and the half price has started online BUT they seem to have made a mistake. The trees have been knocked down to 75% off. The before price, is half the price they were showing yesterday.

Get in quick if you want one

Sorry, but it has not already been posted. The other thread is about the trees going to half price.

Just wanted to make people who were not interested at half price, but may be interested at 75% off aware.

Yes, the prices showing on the website are misprices - but when you add items to your basket, they are added at the correct price of 50% off. So although an item says, was £15 now £7.50, when you add it to your basket it goes in at £15. Still half price and a good deal though.

Edited to add: Just tried checking out anyway, and the 50% comes off again when you check out

The OP is right, an extra discount is applied at checkout, so effectively 75% off original price.

i must be missing something then as mine are half price?????
ie.added the 2m x 3m net light and it was 7.50 and now 3.75???is this wrong then?
also the 3ft black fibre optic tree...was 7.50 now 3.75??
am i doing something wrong?

I've been looking at it and I think what they are saying is when a tree says £15 it was originally £30?

I have just placed an order and it is definately only 50% off not 75%

I ordered a tree and lights and they were all 50% off.

Still a good saving though :beer:
