A quick poll to gauge owners views of the Aldi/Technosonic PVR101. It's gone but was it any good? We'll see.
Please only vote if you have (or had) a PVR101. thanks.

I have returned the unit to Aldi for a refunddifficult to reply as some features were excellent, the fast text service for one but picture quality,we found poor plus the no signal display and loss of recordings, drove us mad and we had to return it.my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!0

Sorry, I tried to pull the various faults people had found in the main PVR101 thread. even then I forgot "hangs in standby"!
It won't let me add any more question after submitting the poll.0 -
I'm too late for the poll but I do have the 'no signal' problem, awaiting new software upgrade with hope.
I do find it rather annoying that the 'MENU' button is so small when you need it to do just about anything else, anyone agree?0 -
Hangs in standby and no signal occasionally. Done one update and fixed lost recordings and reappearing deleted programmes. If they ever fix it, it will be brilliant. The epg is great, highlight your programme and press the record button and it sets everything up, just press OK and epg again. I record all kinds of junk now. If it doesn't work in a years time I'll take it back.0

I still have the unit (waiting for OTA/Swap-out fix)Absolutely, the menu button is far to small and located in a awkward position.0

I must be one of the lucky(?) 0% that have experienced 'NO MAJOR PROBLEM' -- with the exception of randomly switching to AV2 when the unit is in S/By.0
