I wanna Tag heuer watch

Options
I have found a site called http://www.blitzwatches.co.uk/ that seems the best so far. Any other suggestions?

  • I got mine off ebay through an american shop loads cheaper than over here. I paid £400 but it was £1100 in the shops here. If buying anything from overseas don't forget that you will more than likely have to pay import duty.

    Merry Christmas

  • I bought a Tag for my wifes 40th. When you look at the small print from all these sites you will realise that they are not authorised sellers - Tag do not sell online.

I am not saying you will be ripped off, I know people who have bought from these sites, but you need all the paperwork.

In the end I bought mine from the high st.

I got one for my husband a couple of years ago from Makro. Lovely looking watch.

You can get them around e20 in most european holiday resorts...

    Be careful out there.

Beware. If you buy a non genuine Tag, then when you come to have the battery replaced by a jeweller you will lose the watch. I have a Tag which was a wedding present. Each year/18 months it costs about £70 for a new battery and every other change it has a service which is about £180. So it isn't just about buying the watch. They are beautiful watches and very resilient. Mine does not come off my arm ever and still works perfectly. If you are planning on going overseas then it will certainly be cheaper than the UK. My husband bought his a few years back when we were in the US and it was about 60% of the UK price.

My husband didn't pay that for his Tag battery change. He paid £26.53 inclusive for the battery. He took his directly to the Official Tag Service Centre in Worsley, Manchester. Think you can arrange to have it sent via courier directly to them but you would have to pay the postage both ways.

Now that is a bargain. How come he didn't have to pay for the servicing?

If you take it to a Jewellers it is usually pushed as a hard sell to make extra money. He took it directly to Tag and they were happy to replace the battery without a service. It's personal choice as to whether you need a service or not. If the watch is fairly new and works OK then why pay?
  • How much cheaper is the watch then high street? I bought a Tag from high streeta few years ago and got 15% knocked off, went a few months ago and got 22% knocked off - had to work hard to get that much off! Let me know if you need any advice (might be best to PM me).
2p off is still 2p off!
  • Thanks everyone so far.
