Energy Saving Light Bulbs at B & Q

Just read this in my local paper:
'From Fri 31st October to Sun 2nd Nov, anyone who takes a traditional light bulb to a B & Q store in England, Scotland or Wales will receive two energy saving bulbs to replace it, helping customers to reduce both their carbon footprint and electricity bills.'

i work for b&q, all you do is take two old lightbulbs (working or not) with you to your local b&q store between between those dates and they simply will give 2 energy saving light bulbs absolutley free (the reason why they are doing it is to promote energy effiecency).New or used? i was in tesco today they are selling 5 of those energy eficiency bulbs for 40p0
