Free chocolate for children only (merged)

Free Chocolate Bar - For Children

NOTE: Goto Sainsburys customer service desk on the 31st October 2008 and say TRICK OR TREAT and get a free fun size treat for kids

Official MoneySavingExpert.com Insert:

Sainsburys is being a little tight-lipped about this offer, possibly to keep the air of Halloween mystery and fun, but it has told us that on Friday 31 October kids going to customer service desk and saying "Trick or Treat" will receive an edible fun-sized treat. The promotion's on in all stores but it's "while stocks last" so to avoid kids' disappointment perhaps just let them say "trick or treat" and see what they get without telling them there may be a treat waiting for them.

  • I was thinking of going and asking but didn't want the embarrassment of being turned down. And it also feels wrong as I shall be buying copoious amounts of booze to help me through the evening. Yes, so that's 24 cans of Carling, and can I have a free choccy bar please? Hmmm, no.

if the kids went into any shop or house they would have a good 50 50 chance of getting sweets.

My daughter (age 7) went yesterday on our way out .. and they had run out of treats behind the counter :(
Oh well, she didn't mind as she was eating a halloween biscuit from the bakery at the time (which cost a bomb).
