Eek, our court for filing for BR is the High Court in London :eek::eek:, it all sounds very scary now... apparently we have to drop in any week day 10-12 with our completed paperwork, and then come back at 14.30 to find out if our BR has been approved.
Why does this sound so scary? I am trying to convince myself it is just a bigger building and the rules are the same...

wherediditallgo, NekoZombie and PixiePie all petitioned at the High Court.
They describe their experience in some of their threads/posts.
Impressive building(s) apparently, but nothing to be worried or daunted about.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hi IDAW, there have been a few member who have gone to the High Court, if you search this forum there's quite a detailed description as to what happens there, something about going to one buliding for fees and another for the judge. I don't think it was any more scary than a county court.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

The Royal Courts of Justice building hears very few criminal cases, it's mostly civil stuff there.
Get there early, I would, it's an absolutely massive building and easy to get lost in even if you go there a lot!...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
