Am I Sad Or What?

Believe it or not but I am actually looking to the next couple of days as 3 credit card payments come out of my account! Yes you read that right. I'm looking forward to paying my bills!

I know it sounds daft but when they are paid I can update my debt list and see it reduced a little bit more! :o

I used to dread the end of the month as I was always in my overdraft, but this month I'm looking forward to paying my bills and have probably got enough left over to sort Christmas! :D

  • Yaay, its it a great feeling, knowing that you are on top of things and not having to panic every time the doorbell goes or phone rings. I even look forward to the post now as I know there won't be any nasty letters.
  • I know what you mean!I always write down everything I put on my credit card now so there are no nasty surprises, and I enjoy writing a cheque out knowing that there will be a little bit less to pay next month.Especially when it goed down to the next hundred or thousand,I open my pay packet and sit down straight away to work out how much I can pay off. Can't wait until that money will go in my savings though, rathe rthan paying off my debts!

I enjoy the days when all the bills are paid. Then I can see whats left and know exactly how much I must have cut back this month.

Me too! I love looking at my loan on the internet banking, seeing it gradually dissapear makes everything so worth while! I can't wait to give up my second job, but not till every penny has been paid back!
    October make £10/day currently £11.02
  • I hear ya! I do the exact same thing! Every pay day look at my CC & loan balances and knock the money off my spreadsheets. It makes doing 2 jobs all worth while seeing it reduce every month and when I make extra payments. We are not sad we just want to be debt free!!

The ability of skinny old ladies to carry huge loads is phenomenal. An ant can carry one hundred times its own weight, but there is no known limit to the lifting power of the average tiny eighty-year-old Spanish peasant grandmother.
