HBOS/Lloyds TSB Merger

Hi
My husband and I started a dmp with cccs in march and all is running really well - no problems.
However, one of the people we owe money to is Halifax - part of HBOS group.
Because of this we changed our banking to Lloyds TSB as we have no debts with them or related companies.
Now that Lloyds tsb/HBOS are merging will this mean that we then have a problem as they are linked financial institutions and so our money could be offset to pay off anything we owe to Halifax???

Please help as I am really worried that we may have to change banks again because of this and don't want to get caught out.

Many thanks
