A Pre-Christmas Videogame buying guide

Hi all,
I've been playing videogames for years and now spend most of my time sat behind a computer writing about them. For those of you that don't have that amount of experience with games, I've written - well, typed - a reasonably detailed although still broad guide to buying games. Since it's quite big it has been split across 3 pages - broad tips, home consoles and portable consoles.
It has been thoroughly checked for factual inaccuracies by several people all knowledgeable on the subject and is completely unbiased - I have no reason at all to be biased after all. I own the vast majority of the consoles discussed so almost the entire article is written from first hand experience.
Hopefully you will all find it useful - and I'll be more than happy to answer any questions.

On the PSP rundown, you said - "There is no problem however with using the machine once it has been succesfully imported - all menu's are in English, it can play UK games and so on."
Don't forget that while any game will play on any PSP, that is not the case with UMD movies. They're still region locked.
Otherwise, great advice - but a bit anti-Sony?0 -

I'll edit accordingly, surprised no-one picked up on that omission. Japanese UMD's work on UK PSP's which is why I didn't mention it - but you are right about region 1 and region 3 not working on region 2 machines.
I don't think it is anti-sony at all though - it certainly isn't meant to be. I think the PS2 is probably the best choice for a home console this christmas. I certainly prefer the DS to the PSP but I think the only place that is mentioned is in the paragraph I started "While it is nothing more than a personal recommendation" - and that is the only way I can make a suggestion as to which is better.
Everything else is intended to be cold hard facts. Want to give me examples? I'll happily change anything that can be misconstrued. And certainly none of it was intended to push anyone to any console.0
