Thank you for taking part in our survey. This survey aims to find out which are the most beneficial attributes of a right of way. It will only take a couple of minutes to complete and one person will win a pair of trail shoes from a leading manufacturer, a copy of the Lonely Planet's guide to 'Walking in Britain' and a Ramblers cool-bag.
As a charity the Ramblers' Association delivers public benefits. Our long-term aim is to see 100% of the definitive public rights of way network open and easy. But while striving for this we shall adopt a more strategic approach to our work by prioritising those paths which deliver the greatest public benefit.
To do this we will create a useful definition of 'public benefit' and explore other factors which affect the prioritisation of our rights of way cases. This survey seeks to find out how the public benefits from rights of way. It is a great way to get people thinking about different types of paths and how we all benefit from them in different ways.
By completing this survey today you will help the Ramblers and be in with a chance of winning the prize!
