Saw this on HotUKDeals website. Looks pretty good, especially for the specs and the hardware being used:

Mesh do make excellent computers which get best buy reviews in the computer press. If you look on their website they always have special offers (including advertised offers) in the top menu bar, pick the one you like then get them to modify it to your spec. This usually works out cheaper then having a spec made from scratch.
My Mesh PC is 6 years old and still going strong. They have a showroom in Staples Corner so you can see before you buy which you can't with Dell and other direct sellers. If you try to spec a Dell computer to the same as a Mesh computer you will probably find they are about the same price. The Dell specials tend to have a lot of cut corners.

I reccomened mesh computers to a friend recently, as i have an old machine which has worked fine. she has had nothing but problems with it,(returned to mesh 3 times) before it finally worked. I know you can get the bad one off but it was the customer service which was truely appalling and the lengh of time waiting to be answered.:hello: :j0

I would thoroughly recommend Mesh. My PC is ancient, still going strong and they regularly help me via the website with queries. Excellent.0

I too recommend Mesh.
Had my only 2 PCs from them, really great value, never had any problems at all with the 2 of them.

Me too (three, four?). My laptop from Mesh is 3 and a half, and still going strong (compared to a friend who bought a Sony as he thought it would be more reliable and has had 2 hard disk failures!).0

I've read reviews etc and Mesh does seem to build quality products. The hardware they use seems to be good quality, compared to Dells non-standard stuff.
However I've also heard their cust service is a different ball game and many people have had problems (like mentioned above).
However the specs for the above laptop are pretty good, especially taken in with the stuff they are using for the hardware."An eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind" - Mahatma Gandhi0 -
I have had nothing but trouble since we bought our desktop 3 yrs ago. first of all, after the delivery being delayed, it arrived with a non-working monitor. they wouldn't replace it until they had received the faulty one back, so it was a further 2 weeks before i could start to use it. It has been back more times then I can remember (the pc that is), so much so, the chap from Amtrax is on first names with me now. They had it from beginning of august til early october, got it back, set it up, still not working - kept switching off, sent it back, they didn't contact me by either phone or mail, when I phoned up just over a week ago, I was advised it had been ready since 10th oct for despatch but they couldn't find anything wrong with it and I would have to pay the labour and carriage charges for it to be released - had a massive argument with them about the fact it had sat there for 3 weeks without anyone advising me of this, and I would NOT be paying anything - gave them 2 options (well 3 really) - 1/ return it that day 2/ watchdog 3/ trading standards, after nearly an hour on the phone and me going balistic, they agreed to return it. - now, despite there being "nothing wrong" with it, they upgraded the motherboard, changed the CPU and fitted an extra fan - could be me being suspicious here, but as they had it at the change over of my warranty expiring, I suspect they were trying to recoup some costs, didn't admit that there was anything wrong, so tried to claim it back in carriage. The customer service is diabolical, they dont return your calls, the lenght of time on hold is awful and their attitude is dreadful. I would never, ever purchase another mesh and rue the day i ever bought that one. (so much so, when they had it for so long in august, we ended up buying this laptop and I use only this now).0

I have had 2 Mesh PCs, my uncle one and I will be buying my next one from them very soon.0

Mesh do offer some outstanding PC's at really good prices but as has already been mentioned customer services is terrible.
I bought a PC from them 4 years ago that was fantastic so bought a new one last year and have had a few problems with it, as mentioned trying to get through on their premium rate number take absolutely ages- answers straight away automatically then your'e on hold for 20 minutes plus.
Don't think i'll be giving them my money again!0 -

I'm still waiting for one I ordered to show up. They couldn't make the original delivery date last Wednesday, had a message saying it would come Friday instead.. nothing turned up and nobody on the phone knew anything about it. It's supposed to be coming today now.. third time lucky maybe. Tempting to just cancel it but I doubt getting a refund out of them would go smoothly judging by the rest of their customer service.0
