Medical experts universally agree that the theory is nonsense, and say there is absolutely no link between our blood group and the diet we eat. Consequently you won’t find qualified nutritionists or dietitians recommending this diet.
I am not sure about Customized nutrition
When I've got nothing better to do I mayl read The Metabolic Typing Diet or The Nutrition Solution; A Guide To Your Metabolic Type to see what I think of it. I think all nutritionalists have failed to take account of the way Vitamin D3 status affects the way we metabolise food.
I think nutritionalists know as much about food nutrition as a driver who has only ever driven his car with the tyres more or less flat and the fluid levels all more than 50% below the manufacturers specifications knows about how his vehicle performs.
Only after we have repeated the most important tests on bodies that have attained and maintained a vitamin D status above 50ng 125nmol/l and have had their omega 3<>omega 6 ratios corrected and been supplied with around 600mg magnesium daily will we start to understand how our bodies behaved naturally and we will only then see how evolution fine tuned our bodies to metabolise foods most efficienctly. My weight loss following Doktor Dahlqvist' Dietary Program

Like you I started reading the book but I didn't read it all. The only thing I got from it is that different diets suit different people (sounds obvious, I know!) For example one person could thrive on a vegan diet but another would fare better eating a lot of meat but avoiding dairy, etc
It's an interesting read, though I can believe it when people say that the science behind the blood group theory is highly questionable..0
