My OH works for the HMRC and they run loads of free courses eg on PAYE, SSP, SMP,end-of-year-returns etc etc although aimed at employers, it is a great, free, way for any office staff (employed or seekingwork) to updating payroll skills.
Look at HMRC website under 'employers' and 'advice teams'.I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -

I can't get the form to submit... keeps giving me the following error:
Sorry
You have arrived at this page because either:- You are trying to submit a copy of a form stored on your computer or network, or
- The privacy settings on your browser, firewall or third party security product are preventing the form from being sent.
- Access the form directly from the HMRC website, and
- Reset your browser and firewall settings as necessary.
Anyone else having this problem?0 -
**Slimady**
Sometimes our website is funny about cookies and temporary files (for your security) so it may be worth deleting the temporary files and clearing cookies before trying the form. Also, as a general rule, it needs to be IE 5.0 or higher, or Opera 7.0 or higher (I think).
Hope you get sorted.

Yep, I also run these payroll courses too. Most of the people that attend are new to payroll, but we get folks wanting to brush up on certain areas, so it doesn't matter what your level of knowledge is.
Thanks for the mention by the way - just happy to help :j
