2. To be eligible, entries must be received on or before the closing date of 27th August 2008 at 11:59 PM. All entries shall become the property of Waterstones.com, and their directors, officers, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies are not responsible for contacting or forwarding prizes to entrants who provide unclear or incomplete information or for entries lost, misdirected, delayed or destroyed.
3. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and residents of the UK or Ireland.
4. There will be one prize winner, who will win two tickets to the world premiere film showing of The Duchess at Odeon Cinema, Leicester Square on Wednesday 3rd September. Offer valid for this date and this event only. Offer is for one winner only who can bring one guest to the film premiere. Transport is not included – the winning entrants must make their own way to and from the film showing. Offer includes the film showing only, not the premiere party after the film showing. Harper Collins excludes all liability, so far as is permitted by law, which may arise in connection with this offer.
5. The promoter reserves the right to amend the specification of the prize or offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

8. A random draw will take place on the morning of 28th August 2008 to select the winner. The prize winner will be notified by telephone/e-mail, and will need to respond by midnight 28th August 2008 as to whether they are able to accept the prize. If a selected entrant does not meet all of the contract conditions, another entrant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries. Failure to claim a gift, prize or other promotional item by the time or in the manner specified for the particular promotion will make any claim invalid. No responsibility is accepted for entries damaged, lost or mislaid and proof of sending is not proof of receipt. No applications will be accepted by agents, in bulk or from third parties.
