Win an Electronic Poet techno tree t-shirt
Words: Ben Murphy Music and fashion have always gone hand in hand but fresh new fashion label Electronic Poet have taken that connection one step further. Heavily influenced by electronic and dance music, the range of designs – everything from t-shirts to quilted sweaters and jackets – incorporate the iconography of club culture, weaving glitter balls to Moog keyboards and sly references to the techno forefathers into their stylings.
Conceived by club promoter Steve Banks, and launched in February 2008, Electronic Poet have now taken the next logical step and collaborated with highly respected house music labels 20:20 Vision and secretsundaze to create a new range of spring/summer designs.
But perhaps Electronic Poet's dopest design thus far is their techno tree t-shirt. Like a family tree, but tracing the evolution of modern electronic dance from its origins with Kraftwerk, through the Belleville crew and via today's practitioners, it's an item no self-respecting tech-nut can do without. We've teamed up with Electronic Poet to giveaway three techno tree t-shirts.
To win, just answer this question:
Name the producer of 'Strings of Life'. Send your answer to:

Subject: techno-tree-t
Closing date is 29th August.

One result of Googling shows Derrick May as the producer while another shows Mayday. As Maday is an alias of Derrik May, I put Derrick May as the answer.0

It is Derrick May. (the original was 1987, also his name is on the T-shirt.)
