cheap cars

Does anyone have any suggestions where one would look for a cheap car (under £500) with some kind of mot included - have looked in autotrader and used cars so far but no joy :)

    My last car was £650 six years ago and is still driving (tho won't make the MOT this year I think :( )

    mine was £700 and was great. changed for 5 door though. theres a 95 clio on autotrader with low miles for 550. there is a ford fiesta on there purple at 795 - i test drove it other day needs new clutch, back suspension, mirrors and wheel bearing. worth about £200 with £300 worth of work if u can get him to take £200!!!

    There's always plenty of cheap cars in Ads for Free or Buy and Sell. Is this too obvious?

    What about freecycle, worth trying anyway. I have sometimes seen cars there...

    Nissan cars last for ages, they're always worth looking at for anything under £1000.
