We'll even throw in a night's hotel stay for two people, with travel costs included and two tickets to a Sam gig in the evening!

Nottingham born, 19-year-old singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Sam Beeton has music in his blood; his Dad was in 1970s punk band The Drains and his cousins would often wander in and out of his house armed with acoustic guitars and a sound knowledge of the Beatles back catalogue. Sam first picked up a guitar at seven years old and since then has added drums, bass, piano and a fine singing voice to his musical repertoire. From a teenager he performed at his local pub The Old Volunteer, firstly singing classic Nina Simone covers then moving onto his own material, and still performs there to date.

Sam's debut single 'What You Look For' was co-written with Eg White, who is known for his collaborations with Adele and James Morrison. It is a cheerful and breezy sounding track that has a poignant, deeper meaning lyrically. The song is essentially a love song where Sam sings about his affection for an old flame but with an underlying theme of vanity; when you split up with someone and they get a new partner, comparing yourself with that person and thinking you're better. It is a heartfelt track, which ends with a touching message that you?re not always going to be what someone is looking for and can be easily replaced.

Sam will release his debut album 'No Definite Answer' at the beginning of September. With influences ranging from Paul Simon to The Beatles and Tom Petty to Dylan, it is a mature sounding record that skips effortlessly between skiffle-infused pop and jangling-country rock with very personal songs about memories and Sam's own experiences.

After touring the UK with the likes of James Morrison and The Script, Sam and his band will be appearing at V Festival August 16th at Weston Park Staffordshire and 17th at Hylands Park Chelmsford.

Question: In which local pub did Sam first hone his song-writing skills?

Answer: The Old Volunteer
