The Dark Knight: competition terms and conditions


This competition will run until 15 August, 2008.
• The Promoters of this competition are Orange UK and Warner Bros. Entertainment.
• No purchase is necessary in order to participate in the competition/promotion, and the purchasing of any products does not influence the chances of winning a Prize.
• Neither the Prize winner nor any member of the Prize winner’s immediate family can be employees of Orange PCS, Warner Bros. Entertainment UK Limited (“Warner”), any affiliate companies of Warner, or otherwise be professionally related to the competition/promotion.
• Prize winner, and, where applicable, any guest of a Prize winner who is entitled to accompanied the Prize winner under the Prize (“Prize Winner’s Guest”), may be required to sign a Prize Acceptance Form on terms and conditions acceptable to Warner before the Prize is awarded. If a Prize winner (or, where applicable, Prize Winner’s Guest) is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian of the person under 18 may be required to sign a Prize Acceptance Form before the Prize is awarded.
• The Prize winner and, where applicable, the Prize Winner’s Guest, consents to providing Warner his/her contact details (including name, address, and where available, telephone number and email address) for the purposes of Prize fulfilment.
• The Prize winner (and, where applicable, the Prize Winner’s Guest) must not:
a) sell or offer the Prize (or any part of the Prize) for sale, or use the Prize in connection with any further competition, contest, sweepstake or promotion; or
b) make any public statements or release any other information relating to the Prize to the media without Warner’s prior written approval.
• Prize winner, and, where applicable, the Prize Winner’s Guest, may be required to take part in reasonable post-competition publicity for Warner and may be filmed, photographed or otherwise recorded by Warner or other third parties for publicity and he/she consents to the use of his/her personal data for such purposes.
• There is no cash alternative to any Prize or part of a Prize which are subject to availability, non-transferable, non-negotiable and non-refundable.
• Prize details are correct at the date of this Agreement. Events or other circumstances may occur that render the Media Promotion itself or the awarding of the Prize impossible due to unforeseen circumstances or reasons beyond the control of Warner or for Warner’s business reasons. In this situation, Warner may at its discretion vary or amend the Prize so as to provide a reasonable alternative Prize, and the Prize winner, and, where applicable, the Prize Winner’s Guest, agree that no liability shall attach to Warner or parties connected to Warner as a result.
• The Prize winner, and where applicable, the Prize Winner’s Guest, must adhere to the terms and conditions of any third party providing part or all of the Prize.
• The Prize winner, and where applicable, the Prize Winner’s Guest, agrees to advise Warner (at the time of accepting the Prize, or as soon as he/she becomes aware after accepting the Prize):
a) of anything that may have a material adverse impact on his/her ability to participate in the Prize that involves an activity; and
b) if receiving the Prize will have a materially adverse impact on him/her.
• Where a Prize involves travel and the Prize Winner cannot travel on the required dates, Warner may, in its sole discretion and without liability, withdraw the Prize, or award the Prize to another person.
• Where the Prize involves the Prize winner, and where applicable, the Prize Winner’s Guest, attending the screening of a film, the Prize winner, and where applicable, the Prize Winner’s Guest must be able to attend the screening in accordance with the Film’s classification certificate.
• Where the Prize involves travel and the Prize winner (or, where applicable, Prize Winner’s Guest) is under 18 years of age, the person under 18 must be accompanied on the trip by a parent or guardian who is 18 years or older.
