First News has teamed up with cottages4you, to offer one lucky reader the chance to become a First News reporter and have a go at beachcombing. The winner and their family will get the chance to experience one of the unique cottages during a three-night self-catering stay, near the coastal town of Wenbury, South Devon.

You will learn how to beachcomb and identify a shark egg case with an expert from marine charity Shark Trust. The winner will then write a report on their stay, which will be printed in First News.
