Harry Eastwood and Sophie Michell, the two fabulous foodies from Channel 4’s hit cookery show, are celebrating the start of the UK salad season (May-October) by launching a competition to find The Great British Salad.
Inviting you to ‘grab a salad bag and let your imagination run wild’ the girls are asking the British nation to invent a brand new, tasty salad recipe. The winner will receive a cash prize of £1,000 and the opportunity to have their recipe published nationwide.
To enter, simply [EMAIL="salad-recipe@bringonthesalads.com"]send your original salad recipe[/EMAIL] using a bag of salad leaves. Entries must be received by 31st July 2008. Two runners up will each receive £500 cash prize.
Second Competition
In addition, this month we are also giving away the ultimate alfresco dining package – a funky Weber One Touch BBQ and handy recipe booklet ‘Are You Getting Enough’ containing lots of ideas, nutritional tips and summer salad recipes. To be in with a chance of winning, answer the following question:
