The Argus has teamed up with Beachdown – Sussex’s newest and most laid-back festival. With legendary international acts through to the best of Brighton bands performing on four stages, we are offering you the chance to win a pair of tickets for a total of 42 hours of entertainment across the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Beachdown can boast an eclectic line-up of music, film and comedy entertainment which captures in one weekend the full range of global and local influences that Brighton has to offer.
Set in the beautiful designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty site of the South Downs just north of Brighton, Beachdown offers comfortable, secure camping.
Artists confirmed for this year’s event include: Jose Gonzalez, Fun Loving Criminals, De La Soul, Roisin Murphy, Young Knives, Gogol Bordello, The Magic Numbers, Hercules and Love Affair, Nouvelle Vague...andy many more The DJ Line up so far includes: Special Disco Version feat Pat Mahoney DJ Set (LCD Soundsystem), Don Letts, Jonny Rocks, The Disco Shed, Mr Scruff, Born Bad feat Andy Weatherall, Kidda, Terry Hall and The Kleptones.
A full weekend pass will be the steal of the century priced at £85.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Entrants MUST be able to attend the Beachdown Festival starting Friday, August 22 before entering.
Winners will be selected at random from the total competition entries and contacted by Monday, August 4. This competition will appear on theargus.co.uk/competitions and in print in The Argus. There is no cash alternative to the prize stated.
Standard Newsquest (Sussex) competition rules apply.
