Getting straight

Hi everyone, I'm new to the board (or a born again newbie, I think I posted briefly many moons ago!)
I've reached a point where I feel like my finances are out of control. I realise some people are in far far worse situations but I'm hoping to get a grip of them now. I know exactly where I have gone wrong - I recently moved house and I've gone just a tad OTT buying pretty things for it. So while my house looks lovely - my finances aren't looking so great!
I have three bank accounts:
an ISA, my current account (complete with overdraft), and a first reserve account (which I set up for 'spends' vs direct debits etc but now have some other savings in there). I also have a credit card. My savings would cancel out my debt but I feel that the debt is something I need to take hold of separately so I can get a grip on my spending habits and change them for the better.
I have been taking advantage of quidco and am now scouring the house for things to put on ebay. I've just started a list of things I'm spending so I can monitor it and hopefully it'll make me thing twice/thrice before I spend! I request to spend lots of time away with my job so I can reduce the amount of trips to work (reducing my fuel costs and getting paid more) and am now considering stealing the loo roll & toiletries from the hotels in a bid to save!
I'm considering going to the bank again to get another account set up for I can have my current account with all the direct debits and bills going out and then a separate one with a allocated budget in there for fuel/shopping.
Also, are these survey websites worthwhile - any recommendations?
Just looking for advice/hints/tips/support really. So, please, impart your wise words of wisdom
Thanks for reading!

If your Savings would cancel out your debt then surely it would be best (and cheapest) to go back to square one and start again!DEBT FREE - FEB 2010  (LBM £24,000)
House Deposit 2010 - £2500 / £10,000 Saved
