The lucky winner and a friend will stay in the stylish Portobello Hotel in Notting Hill whose previous guests include Gwyneth Paltrow, Kylie Minogue and Colin Firth.

On the evening of the 30 August the winners will be driven to the BBC studios to attend The National Lottery Awards show, mingling with a host of celebrities. The prize includes return travel to London, lunch and dinner on the 30 August; return travel to the BBC for the live Awards show and one night's accommodation with breakfast.

The National Lottery Awards are an annual search to find the UK's favourite Lottery-funded projects. Lottery players raise £25 million each week for Good Causes and the Awards highlight how that funding has changed the UK for the better.

Now in their fifth year, The National Lottery Awards aim to recognise the incredible difference that Lottery-funded projects - both large and small - have made to people, places and communities, all across the UK. They celebrate the talent, hard work and amazing dedication of the people involved in running Lottery-funded projects.

There are seven different categories in this year's Awards, including Best Education Project, Best Sports Project, Best Heritage Project, Best Arts Project, Best Environment Project, Best Voluntary/Charity Project, and iVillage.co.uk Award for Best Health Project. The winning projects receive a £2,000 cash prize. For more information on the Awards visit www.lotterygoodcauses.org.uk/awards
