New Zealand Competition Terms & Conditions

The competition starts at midnight on 15 July 2008. The competition closes at midnight on 29 August 2008.
Only one entry per person will be considered. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
Employees of Wanderlust Publications Ltd., Air New Zealand and Pacific Horizon and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

The winner will be drawn on 1 September by an independent judge. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The winner's name will be published on https://www.wanderlust.co.uk within a week of the competition closing.

Please note that the flights for this prize are only available from London Heathrow. The winner and companion must make their own way to the airport.

Air New Zealand
1. The prize consists of: Two (2) adult Air New Zealand Economy class return tickets from London Heathrow to New Zealand valued at up to £1,200 each excluding taxes
2. The prize travel is valid for 12 months from date the winner is notified
3. Flights are subject to availability
4. Blackout travel dates when travel is not permitted apply. Black out dates apply. These include the periods of: 07 Dec 2008 – 23 February 2009, 21 March 2009 – 21 April 2009 and 23 June 2009 – 31 August 2009
5. The prize is not transferable. If the winner and the winner’s travel companion are unable to travel in accordance with the blackout date restrictions above, the winner shall be deemed to have forfeited the prize
6. Flights must be booked at least four (4) weeks before departure date


7. Fuel surcharge tax is included
8. Airport, security taxes and passenger facility charges are NOT included
9. Accommodation and travel insurance are NOT included
10. No cash or credit alternatives will be offered
11. The flight tickets are non-negotiable and under no circumstances are permitted to be upgraded
12. All prize travel will be subject to Air New Zealand’s general terms and conditions of carriage, to view visit www.airnz.co.nz/general_tc.htm
13. Airpoints cannot be accrued on prize air travel
14. The winner and their travel companion are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documentation including passports and visas where applicable
15. Neither the promoter nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss or damage) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered

Pacific Horizon
The prize consists of:
* 14 days’ hire of a 2 +1 campervan
* Insurance (with excess of NZ$4,500)
* One-way hire if required
* Unlimited mileage
Winners will need to leave a credit card imprint as security (as is standard with all rentals). Winners can upgrade the van if they choose by paying the daily difference in rate. The insurance excess can also be reduced locally on payment of additional fee. Drivers must be over 21, hold a national driving licence and be in possession of a major credit card. Prize rental must be between April and October and is subject to availability; terms and conditions apply.
